AfterHer is an 18+, AI-only companionship service. Every companion is fictional and generated by software — there are no real people behind them, and we do not host user-uploaded media. This center is the public, plain-language record of how we keep the platform safe, lawful, and predictable. It is written so that users, creators, regulators, payment partners, and law enforcement can all find the same answers in one place.

Our commitments, in one line each

Adults only — on both sides

Every user is age-assured as 18+ and every companion is depicted and described as an adult. No exceptions, no "fictional" loopholes.

No real people

We do not allow companions based on real, identifiable individuals, and we offer no deepfake, face-swap, or "undress" tools.

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material

We block it, remove it, preserve evidence, and report it to NCMEC and the relevant authorities. Always.

We moderate in depth

Layered automated classifiers plus human review across inputs, outputs, behaviour, and user reports.

We explain ourselves

Our rules are public, rejections come with reasons, and decisions can be appealed to a human.

Your private chats are yours

We do not sell your conversations. We disclose data only when the law genuinely requires it.
